For the past six years, me and my partner, Peter, have been on a romantic rollercoaster, riding the ups and downs and loop-de-loops that love has thrown our way.
In our complex couple's journey, we've messed up, mended things, and met each other halfway. We've evolved and transformed and taken our connection to new heights.
And, most importantly, we've learned to make space for one another – widening our individual apertures to include the fullness of his desires and mine.
Relationships are never easy. In fact, they are the single hardest thing to get right.
But without a roadmap for how to dance this dance – how to take turns leading and following, softening and standing tall – we tend to trip all over ourselves, floundering and failing in the face of such complicated footwork.
